Candle Burning Tips

We hope our candles help evoke a story of happy memories of the past. Here are some tips to ensure you get the most out of your Adventure Story candles:

Trim the wick: Before each burn of your candle, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch in length. Be sure to remove any residual sooted wood. This will help prevent the flame from becoming too large and reduce the risk of soot buildup.

Burn the candle long enough: Burn the candle for at least 2 hours or until the melted wax reaches the edges of the jar. This will help prevent tunneling of the wax and ensure an even burn for future uses.

Don't burn the candle too long: Our candles are designed to be burned for between 2-4 hours at a time. Burning for longer than 4 hours can reduce the quality of future burns.

Keep the candle away from flammable objects: Wooden wick candles can generate a larger flame than traditional cotton wick candles, so be sure to keep the candle away from flammable objects such as curtains or paper.

Burn on a solid, non-flammable surface: For safety and to prevent any potential wax spills, always burn your candle on a solid, non-flammable surface.

By following these tips, you can enjoy a safe and efficient burn of your wooden wick candle.
