ABOUT ADVENTURE STORY

When we started Adventure Story, we wanted to ensure the scents we blended reflected stories and memories from our past. After a year of research and development, we developed our own special blends of wax and scents. This makes Adventure Story unique among all candles.

We hand-pour our candles in our production facility located in La Conner, WA. We use a blend of organic coconut and soy waxes and sustainably harvested wooden wicks. Our candles are poured into rocks glasses which can be reclaimed once your candle has completely enjoyed. 

OUR FOUNDER

Meet Rich, someone who has always been captivated by the powerful connection between scents and memories. Growing up, Rich was fascinated by how a certain aroma could transport him back in time to a specific moment in his life. This sparked a lifelong love affair with the relationship between scents and the emotions they evoke.

A self-professed lover of candles, Rich decided to lean into his passion for all things candles, scents, and nostalgia. Over the years, he has honed the craft of candle making through patience and determination. He has developed a unique point of view creating scents that not only smell beautiful, but also tell a story. Rich's candles quickly gained a following with his friends through their ability to capture the essence of a moment or a place in a scent. What started as a fun hobby making candles for friends and family has evolved into a rewarding small business.

Rich, an entrepreneur and lover of all things small business, is always striving to make a great product and to create fragrance blends that evoke memories of good times from the past. He believes that scent is a powerful tool for self-expression and emotional connection and strives to spread this message through Adventure Story.
